CSIR-NET Exam is compulsory for candidates who want be to teach in various degree colleges/ universities in all over India.For this examination candidates must have M.SC Degree /Integrated BS-MS/BS-4 years/BE/B.Tech/B.Pharma/MBBS with at least 55% marks for general. 50% in the case of candidate belonging to reserved category. CSIR conducts NET exam twice a year in the month of June and December.

Important Tentative Dates for CSIR-NET Exam:

Date of Start of Online Submission: First week of August

Date of Close of Deposit of Fee : Last week of August

Date of Close of Online Submission of Application : Last week of August

Exam date: In the month of December

Exam Pattern:

The MCQ test paper of each subject shall carry a maximum of 200 marks.

Duration of exam is 3 hours.
