NET stands for National Eligibility Test .This exam is conducted twice in a year by UPSC..

The Educational Qualification is required for NET Exam is masters degree from recognized university with above 55% marks .Marks relaxation provide for SC/ST category ( 50% ).Final year student are also eligible for NET Exam

There is no age criteria for NET Exam.But for JRF your age should be below 28 years old.

Notification of UGC NET exam December is not announce yet . But it will be announced very soon .You can apply for UGC NET December 2014 .There is no separate notification announced for engineering student.
