You can get the IAS exam form for your near Post Office/ Head Post Office.

Once you get the Exam Form in that form you will get the Address where it needs to be sent, Also Take care that the form is properly filled otherwise your form may get rejected.

After your form is accepted you shall get the letter when your exam will be held.

The application for the UPSC (IAS) exam are available in the Head Post offices of the districts up on the payment of the fees of Rs.50. Also this depends up on the caste category and this can be waived for the SC and ST candidates and also you can submit the form by post to the mentioned address in the Application form (UPSC, Dholpur, New Delhi). Also the deadline for the exam 2010, is passed already. Try in the forthcoming year.

You can get the IAS application form from the head post of your city.
For this you have to pay a sum of Rs 20/-.

The expected date of the availability of the application form is is in between november and december.

For the exact date read the employment newspaper regularly.

UPSC publishes a list of post offices/head post offices in different states, where application forms will be available. From 2010 onwards, UPSC is planning to have applications online too. Please check the website of UPSC for more details.

The UPSC carries out this exam. A notification will be published by UPSC as per the requirement of vacancies. You can get application forms for IAS from designated post offices or from special government counters. You should fill in the forms correctly and post it to the concerned address. if you are SC/ST category, then you can get free of cost.

Once you got the form.. all the details will be available.

How many attempts are in IAS in case of SC students ?

Number of attempts For IAS exam:-

General candidates: four attempts.

Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates: No restriction.

Other Backward Classes: seven attempts.

Besides that candidate should be an indian graduate with age between 21 to 30 years.
