SCRA stands for Special Class Railway Apprentice. The entrance exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission every year.

Eligibility criteria:

You must have passed the 10+2 or appearing for it from a recognized board with Mathematics as compulsory subject and at least one of the subjects like Physics or Chemistry as subjects of 10+2 board exams.

The age limit is 17-21 years on 1st August of year of examination. Reserved categories candidates are eligible for upper age relaxation.

Scheme of examination:

>>General ability test of 200 marks and 2 hours duration.

>>Physical science that is physics and chemistry of 200 marks and 2 hours duration.

>>Mathematics of 200 marks and 2 hours duration.

Those who clear the written test are called for personal interview.
