Hi, I have completed my B.Tech with specialization in Computer Science Engineering. So, am I eligible to apply and write the TNPSC examination? If yes, then when shall I submit my application form and what is the TNPSC application charges?

B.E./B.Tech graduates are eligible for TNPSC exam.

After qualifying this exam, candidates can get recruitment at posts like Assistant Engineer, Assistant Director, etc.

For the post of Assistant director, candidates should have completed B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Chemical/Production/Electrical/Textile technology.

While for the post of Assistant engineer, candidates should have completed B.E./B.Tech in any stream. In addition, B.Sc. Agriculture graduates can also apply for this post.

-The TNPSC exam age limit and other TNPSC eligibility criteria for different
posts are different.
-One should be well aware of the various TNPSC eligibility criteria such as
educational qualification and age limit before filling in the application form .
-For example:
a)TNPSC Combined Engineering Services exam and TNPSC Assistant Engineer
exam (B.E. or B.Tech degree , 30 Years)
b)TNPSC Group 1 exam/ 2 exam/ 3 exam (Graduation, 32 Years/30 years/42
years respectively)
c)TNPSC Group 4 exam/ VAO exam (S.S.L.C.,30 years)
d)TNPSC Assistant Engineer exam(B.E. or B.Tech degree,30 Years)

***Registration fee:- Rs 150
**Preliminary examination fee:- Rs 100
*Main written examination fee :- Rs 200
