Who all are eligible for UPCCL's Assistant Engineering post?


I have completed BCA degree now am I eligible to apply for the post of Assistant Engineer in Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Ltd. (UPPCL)? What is the pay scale of Assistant Engineer in UPPCL?

To be eligible for UPPCL Assistant Engineer post, you should have completed engineering course in anyone of the relevant discipline
  • Electrical
  • Computer Science/ Information Technology
  • Electronics & Tele Communication
  • Civil

Basic Pay of UPPCL assistant engineer (trainee) is mentioned below:
  • Basic Pay in Pay-matrix = Rs.56100
  • Dearness allowance (on 01/01/2017) = 4% of basic pay i.e. Rs.2244
  • Medical allowance = Rs.200
  • H.R.A. = Rs.3780 (for Lucknow)
  • City compensatory allowance = Rs.450
  • Total pay = Rs.62,774
