This is a very debatable topic as to which is better Science or Commerce.
It is solely upon you to decide as to which is better as it varies from person to person.
People who can grasps various concepts and are interested in knowing the why and how of everything happening around tend to like Science more. As for the other section, who are good at making profits in various areas go for Commerce.

As for the financial part of things, both Science and Commerce offer good paychecks. You need to like what you do so that you can perform the task better than the others and then the money will follow. Do not worry about the money now. Think which will give you more happiness.

the choice between commerce and science purely depends on your interest. do not choose something which you dont like for any reason.
all the degree as of now has very good scope.
so first find whether you like science or commerce.
if you are interested in science do choose science stream along with maths and upon completion of 12th class do professional courses like MBBS,BE etc it has good scope and you can get good jobs.
if you are interested in maths and accounts join in commerce group and do CA which is very valuable as of now.
and commerce is better than science is told as of now,this is because every year there are many who become engineers and many prefer science stream and do bachelors in that degree. so no.of people in commerce stream is quite less compared to science stream so commerce stream has less competition and more opportunities.

Look the most important thing is your interest level in the subject.
Do a planned thinking . are you comfortable with complicated mathematical formulae and derivations and theories.
As a science student you will really have to put a lot of time studying all these things .
Would you be able to give such long sittings ?
This is really important because you know many of the guys just take science because there friends take science or parents tell them to.
Or they think that good job oppourtunities are only available after becomong a engineer or a doctor.
And believe i am seeing many engineers unemployed today because they dont have the technical knowledge to get employed.
So go for commerce if you like to play with numbers and have a inclination towards finance, buisness, law etc.
Becoming CA (Charted accountant ) is the most respectable and good earning job today( i am saying this even though i am a engineer).
So think a many times dude before taking any decision.
Your whole life will depend on this.

Actually friend you just think yourself that commerce is better than science. After doing commerce you can do B.com and CA and then you can take career in a safe path or you can do BBA or B.ed and carry your life in management or teaching side and that would also take your life in a safe path. Note that safe path and that is the reason why some people says commerce is better. While doing science you must remember more formulae and all but in commerce no problem of that. If you choose to go in management side you need not remember any thing which you have studied in school or college because after doing science we must deal with machines and after doing commerce we must deal with humans which we do all time. And science is a challenging thing and we don't know which field of science will fall down at which time. But commerce is a non risky and safe travelling.
Thus many feels commerce have more scope than science.

I think you are in lot of confusion, both two branches are better in their own position. At first you need to decide that which branch you preferred. Then you choose the subject for your carrier.
There is good scope of commerce, after complete B.com , M,com degree, you can join in various company, bank or any other office etc.
So, don’t worry , think high.

Balaththegreat dude I don't know what you were thinking about when you said that after doing science you have to deal with machines or whatever else you said but I have a few questions for you
1.which doctor do you know who deals with machines
2.how many b.ed graduates do you know who are living a comfortable life today?
3.how many consultants in the world do you know who 'deal with machines'

In fact a couple of my friends who chose science are now succesful psychiatry specialists and earn approximately Rs 44000 a day. Ofcourse this is after doing a ph.d in a good college.

Dear guest it depends on your interest.Both the streams are good in their way,but the most preference is given to science student because a science student can pursue any stream course instead commerce students cannot interfare in science course.First you must analyse your interests and goals,only then you will be able to choose any perfect stream.Good luck!

After completing your 12Th examination with Maths as a compulsory subjects, Then you are eligible for Many entrance examinations.

After completing your 12Th examination you have 2 Options:

>> Go for Further Study
>> Go for Job.

If you are Interested in Further study, then you have number of Courses after completing 12Th examination. After completing your 12Th examination, you are eligible for these courses :

>> BBA
>> BCA
>> B.tech
>> B.Arch
>> B.com
>> B.Sc

You can also go for Honors Courses after completing your 12Th examination, But the admission in Honors course are based on Written test and Personal Interview, Written test is Basically Objective and you have cracked the Written examination First, only then you are eligible to get admission in honors course in top Colleges.

If you are Interested in do Job, then you can apply for Various Government examinations Like:

>> National Defence Academy (NDA)
>> Bank Clerical Recruitment examination

If your aim is to enter into Defence, then you have to appear for the NDA Examination, this examination is Conducted by UPSC Every year and to apply for this examination your age should between 16.5 to 19 Years, The Notification of NDA Examination was already declared and Availiable in the official website of UPSC.

The Online Registration process was already started and if you have fulfill the given eligibility then please apply for NDA Examination.

>> You are also eligible to apply for SBI Bank Clerical Recruitment examination, If you have scored minimum 60% marks in your 12Th examination, then you are eligible to appear for SBI Clerical Recruitment examination, For this your Age should between 18 to 28 Years, Upper age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC Candidates.

This examination is also Objective and there is negative marking also in this examination.

So, please give correct answer, If you give wrong answer your marks will be deducted, So please careful before answering.

To cracked NDA and Bank Clerical examination, you have to work hard and study daily 3-4 hrs, Only then you will be able to cracked the NDA Examination.

So, Please work Hard, then definitely you will get success in your Career.

After a candidate passes out of Class 10th, he/she is said to enter the Higher Secondary which is the Class 11th and 12th.

Now after your metric, you would have a choice of choosing a stream in which you want to make a career. The main 3 streams available are : SCIENCE, COMMERCE and ARTS.

>>> Science would have Physics + Chemistry + Maths or Biology as the main subjects

>>> Commerce would have Accounts + Business Studies + Economics + Statistics, etc as the main subjects

>>> Arts would have Arts + History + Psychology etc as the main subjects.


You have got only 60% in your 10th so I feel that you are not eligible to get science in 11th. Most of the good school deny science to the students who score less than 70% aggregate in it.

So you can choose a career in either Commerce or Arts.

Rest is up to you.
