Is my plus two mark will look to get admission for MBA in abroad. . ??

10+2 will not get you admission for MBA in India or any other part of the world. You need at least a graduation degree in be eligible for MBA course. The procedure to apply for the MBA course abroad is far different from India.

In India you need to complete graduation degree and then appear for the MBA entrance exams like Common Admission Test (CAT) or the Management Aptitude Test (MAT). While passing the CAT exam would give you admission in IIMs, the best Business Schools in India while MAT would give you admission is other MBA colleges, some of which are very prestigious.


However studying MBA abroad is completely different ball game. You would require to appear in several tests and meet other requirements before you would get the admission. Below I have explained everything:

1. First thing to remember is that MBA from outside India is very expensive. It would easily cost you 25 to 35 Lakh fors studying MBA in United States. In several countries, the universities require candidate to assure that he/she would be able to bear the expenses.

2. Similar to India, you would require a 3-4 years graduation course to apply for MBA overseas.

3. It is important to note that some foreign universities require 2-3 years of work experience to apply for MBA course.

4. MBA courses are seasonal in United States and Europe. Some colleges run two courses a year. Therefore make sure to check the deadline to apply for the MBA university.

5. If recent incidents are to go by, make sure that your university is not bogus.There have been incidents where universities have been shut down by the US authorities leaving hundreds of Indian students in loop and treated as criminals or illegal immigrants.

6. You would have to appear for the GMAT or GRE test to get admission in overseas college. GMAT is more popular of two tests however there are few colleges that only accept the score of GRE test. Therefore contact the college and find out about the requirement. You would need at least 600 marks in GMAT test to get a good university.

7. You would also have to appear for Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or International English Language Testing System (IELTS). A good score in any of these two tests in also very important.

8. The last step is getting student visa. When you would apply for the admission in a university, you would get a letter of offer in return which would include the total fee and the first installment that you have to pay. Reply to the letter accepting the offer and make the first payment. After which the university would send you a copy of electronic Conformation of Enrollment (eCEO), the other copy would be send to the embassy by the university. You will have to submit copy of eCEO to the embassy to obtain student visa.

No, you wont get admission in an MBA college merely passing 12th. You have to complete your graduation in any stream with a minimum of 50% in aggregate in graduation, them you are eligible to sit for entrance exams. To study MBA one has to clear exams like CAT,XAT,MAT,etc. If you want to in abroad then you have to appear for exams like GRE,TOEFL, etc. and then you can go abroad for study. Best of luck.
