The possibilities are less. check the aicte site to know about reservations.the goverment has odnined the decision,yet confirm one cant tell.

But you must be crack this exam within 5000 rank.
According to previous year counselling result, the maximum rank was appx 5100 for OBC.
But you can attend your counelling , may be there are some chance for you.

Though there are seats reserved for OBC, but unfortunately your rank seems low to crack it. It would have been much safer if you had a rank somewhere around 6000 atleast.

sorry sir.i dont think there are lots of hopes.ya if you belong from kerela then you have good chance as my one frien with 8000 rank in gen cat is in elec.n instrumentation.while my one frend from jharknd got 890 rank in gen catgry bt got no branch .

I think you should not get an OBC seat in mechanical engineering in
cusat because you have get rank in 13000, if you will get rank in
between 5000 then you will get a seat, but please attend the
councelling, may be you will get OBC seat.............

60-70 percent r d chances of ur getng. if ur rnk decreases then u cn.
