will i get scholership in any college for m.tech....Pelase provide to me the details

M.Tech stands for the Master of Technology. The entrance to this course is given through the Graduate Aptitude test in Engineering. GATE is the exam conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology for admission of candidates into various engineering colleges for Master of technology.

You can get scholarship while pursuing M.Tech only when you have qualified the GATE exam. According to the latest notification, all those candidates who have cleared GATE exam and are pursuing master of technology from any recognized institute will receive stipend of Rs 12,400 per month. This is applicable from December 2014.

So if you have taken admission in M.Tech after qualifying this exam, you will definitely receive Rs 12,400 per month.

There are certain private institutes which give admission to B.Tech/B.E candidates without GATE score, in that case this stipend is not applicable.
