Alliance College of Engineering and Design offers different types of scholarship to meritorious students with an objective to provide necessary financial support. The types of scholarship awarded to students are – merit based, rank based, sports quota, domicile, differently abled and SC/ST scholarships. The eligibility criteria and scholarship amount will differ as per the type of scholarship chosen by students.

Merit Based Scholarship

As the name suggests, students are selected based on their merit score in grades 10 and 12. Students should have a consistent academic record without having to attempt any supplementary papers in classes, 10th and 12th. Scholarship amount given is as follows–

  • Students with 95% of marks in 10th and 12th class - Rs 75,000/- per year as scholarship amount
  • Students with 90% of marks in 10th and 12th class - Rs 45,000/- per year as scholarship amount
  • Students with 85% of marks in 10th and 12th class - Rs 30,000/- per year as scholarship amount

Rank Based Scholarship

This type of scholarship is awarded for students on the basis of their rank in common entrance examinations like AIEEE, and JEE Advance (IIT – JEE). State Rank holders (1st three positions) in 12th class can also avail this scholarship. Following is the scholarship amount given to students on the basis of their rank–

JEE Advance (IIT – JEE) Rank

  • Rank — 01 - 3,000 – Scholarship Amount — Rs 1, 20,000/-
  • Rank — 3,001 - 5,000 – Scholarship Amount — Rs 90,000/-
  • Rank — 5,001 - 8,000 – Scholarship Amount — Rs 60,000/-
  • Rank — 8,001 - 11,000 – Scholarship Amount — Rs 30,000/-

JEE Main (AIEEE) Rank

  • Rank — 01 - 6,000 - Scholarship Amount — Rs 90,000/-
  • Rank — 6,001 - 11,000 - Scholarship Amount — Rs 60,000/-
  • Rank — 11,001 - 15,000 - Scholarship Amount — Rs 30,000/-
  • Rank — 15,001 - 20,000 – Scholarship Amount — Rs 15,000/-

Top 3 State Rank holders in 12th class – Scholarship Amount — Rs 1, 50, 000/-

Sports Quota scholarship

Applicant need to be a national level player in any sports and games.  Such candidates must have scored at least 60% marks in 10th and 12th class. The scholarship amount paid to students in this category is Rs 1, 05, 000/- per year.

SC/ST Scholarship

Only those students belonging to SC/ST category with a consistent academic performance (without repetitions) can apply for this scholarship. They should have scored at least 70% marks in 10th and 12th class level. The annual family income of the candidate must not be less than 4 lakhs. Eligible ones are offered with Rs 37, 500/-  per year as part of this scholarship scheme.

Differently Abled Scholarship

Students with a good academic record (without repetitions) and having certified as differently abled can apply for this scholarship. It is compulsory for students to obtain at least 60% marks in 10th and 12th class. A scholarship amount of Rs 75,000 is awarded to selected students.

Domicile Scholarship

Students who are residents of the State of Karnataka along with a consistent academic performance (without repetitions) can submit applications for this scholarship. The minimum mark to be scored in 10th and 12th class is 80%. Rs 22, 500/- per year is the scholarship amount awarded to chosen candidates.
