Will I be promoted to class 10th if failed in 2-3 subjects of ICSE 9th exam?
Sir I have scored 58% in my icse 9th exams.. But failed in 2-3 subjects, so will I go to class 10th? And also what is the passing percentage of class 9th?

AS per the ICSE board criteria, For promotions to Class X from Class IX, a candidate is required to have obtained at least 35% marks in five subjects including English on the cumulative average and a minimum attendance of 75% of the working days.
So, failing in 2-3 subjects irrespective of your overall aggregate in Class 9th, you will not be eligible for promotion to Class 10th. Also, the passing marks for each subject is 35% of the maximum marks of the paper. |
