ACCA holder can apply for IFS(Foreign Services)?
I have completed ACCA intermediate without graduation, but soon I will reciev distance graduation degree upon completion of course and I want to join in is that possible in my case?

No, ACCA holder can't apply for IFS(Foreign Services).
You can't apply being ACCA candidate but you can apply on the basis of Distance learning graduation. Once you will complete your Distance learning education than you will be totally eligible to apply for Indian Foreign Services. Your final selection will be done through interview and merit list. |

Yes, ACCA holder can apply for IFS(Foreign Services) but you should have first division passed graduation from any university. The candidate should be in the age group of 21 years to 32 years. The candidate should have Indian citizenship.

Eligibility criteria for IFS exam -
Educational qualification:- The candidate must have a graduate degree from any of the recognised university or must have an equivalent qualification. Age limit:- The minimum age required is 21 years. Maximum age limit is 30 years. There is relaxation in upper age limit for candidates belonging to reserved category. 5 years age relaxation for SC/ ST candidates 3 years age relaxation for OBC candidates. Number of attempts:- 7 attempts for general category candidates. No restriction for SC/ST candidates. 9 attempts for other backward class candidates. |
