Sir, what is the age criteria for Ex Servicemen in BPSC and how many seats are reserved for Ex-men? How can i apply for it, please tell me.

• Age criteria for Ex-servicemen in BPSC:-

Ex-servicemen, under the age of 53 to 55, can avail BPSC age relaxation of three years plus the number of years in service.

• Even as 10 to 24.5 per cent reservation has been given to ex-servicemen in Central government jobs, their strength in the sector is just 1.94 per cent. The situation is no different at the state level.

BPSC Upper limit for.male is 37 years.

For female it is 40 years.

Candidate of the reserved category will get a relaxation of 2 years.

Ex-servicemen who are not above 53 years of age, can avail of BPSC age relaxation of three years plus the number of years in service.

Out of 723 vacancies, 228 posts are reserved for women candidates and the rest 495 posts are available for male candidates. Last year, the total number of vacancies was 562. Check the post-wise vacancy table from the below table.

BPSC conduct entrance exam for various post in Bihar state.

For OBC:21-33years
For SC/ST: 21-35 Years
For Ex-Serviceman- There is a relaxation of 5 years. So upper age limit is 40 years.

Selection process:
-Preliminary exam
-Main Exam
-Interview
Candidates will qualify the preliminary exam aur only eligible to appear in main exam after qualifying main exam final selection will be made on the basis of interview performance.

There is no Seat reserved for ex-servicemen candidates belonging to Defence.
