Hello Sir/Madam, I am planning to apply for UPSC Combined Engineering Services Examination this year. But before that I would like to know about the age criteria, that is, what is the age limit for applying in this recruitment? Please let me know about the age criteria immediately.

Age Limit required to apply for UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) Combined Engineering Services Examination 2019 is 21 to 30 years. Upper age relaxation are available for reserved category candidate.

Age limit to apply for the UPSC Engineering Services Examination is given below:

Minimum age – 21 years as on 1st January, 2020

Maximum age – 30 years as on 1st January, 2020

Maximum age – 30 + 5 years for SC/ST candidates

Maximum age – 30 + 3 years for OBC candidates

CDS examination is conducted by UPSC. It is conducted twice in a year.

The eligibility to appear in the examination is that :-

Candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university.

The age limit is :-

Navy, Army - 18-23 years.

Air Force - 18-24 years.

OTA - 18-24 years.
