The dynamic and vast arena of the science of health care spread itself into one of the noble professional called as nursing. It is one of the largest areas of employment in the whole industry of health care. The work of professionals in the field of nursing begins with offering personal side care to patients and moves to offering care to specific group of patients like intensive care, women health care, psychiatric and pediatric health care. This sector is regarded as one of the noblest sector not only in India, but in other countries as well this personnel in this sector offer self-less services to the people who are in real need of a helping hand. This sector offers wide range of employment opportunities to the nurses.
What is the scope of government jobs in nursing sector?
Since a number of government hospitals are functioning in different parts of India each of these hospitals has its own nursing sector and nurses are appointed in these sectors to offer assistance to patients. There are a number of government hospitals in India like:
• Government TB and CD hospital, Karnataka
• Indira Gandhi Institute of Child Health Hospital, Karnataka
• ESI Hospitals in different parts of the country
• General Hospitals in different cities
In addition to these hospitals, there are a number of government colleges cum hospitals in India and nursing candidates can find employment opportunities in the nursing sector of these hospitals. Candidates can also find employment opportunities in the health departments of a particular village or town.
Educational qualification needed to finding Nursing jobs in government hospitals:
Normally candidates with Bachelor of Science/Master of Science in nursing can find jobs in nursing sector. However, if he/she wishes to take up some specific field of nursing like peadiatric nursing, obstetrics & gynecology nursing, psychiatry nursing, etc…they will have to take up that particular major at the PG level, which will improve their job opportunities in that particular sector.
