Anomaly in grade pay of LDC's: 6th CPC

Is there any news either from ministry of finance or national pay commission for up gradation of LDC's grade pay of Rs 2400/- wef 1.1.2006 since their educational qualification has been revised as 12th Standard pass with typing speed @25WPM but grade pay has not been revised. As per 6th CPC, Pre-revised pay scales 2550-3200, 2610-3540, 2610-4000, 2650-4000 & 2750-4400 in respect of erstwhile Group ‘D’ employees have been merged and grade pay has been fixed at 40% of the maximum of the pre-revised pay scale (i.e., Rs. 4400 x 40% = Rs. 1760/- rounded off to Rs 1800/). Likewise, Pay scales of 5000-8000, 5500-9000 & 6500-10500/- in respect of JEs / Office Supd / D’Man / MCM etc., have been merged and grade pay has been fixed at 40% of the maximum of the pre-revised pay scale (i.e., Rs. 10500/- x 40% = Rs. 4200/-). But Pay scale of 3050-4590, 4000-6000/- & 4500-7000/- in respect of LDC / UDC other equivalent post / category have not been merged and upgraded due to this Gde Pay has not been increased.

You have to contact the concerned authority which dispenses your salary. In cases of pension you have to contact the pension authority which is responsible for crediting money to your account.

If they are not solving your problem then you can lodge your grievance at PG portal. Just make sure you lodge your grievance for right category. Select state or central government according to your job.
