I have attached previous years genuine papers of SSC Stenographer examination.

As you have required special papers of Hindi so I would like to let you know that Hindi/ English is the only preference that is given by the candidate willing to provide his/her stenography test in that language after qualifying written test but written examination is equal for all candidates having certificate of Hindi and English Language that is why both Hindi and English stenographers need to clear written examination of the same type and pattern conducted by the commission then only they are selected.

There are two categories in stenography test under which, candidates are shortlisted which are - 80 wpm speed of steno and 100 wpm speed, if a candidate secures higher marks in written test and covers marks required for 100 wpm speed then he/she will be selected for that post.

But this is also based on preference because when we fill up application form then we need to give priority to either 80 wpm or 100 wpm speed so you will be selected under that category after qualifying examination.

Examination pattern of SSC Stenographer examination 2015 :

There will be three sections in examination which are -

01. General Intelligence and Reasoning - 50 marks.
02. General Awareness - 50 marks.
03. English Language and Comprehension - 100 marks.

Total 200 objective type questions for 200 marks and passing in this test is compulsory to be shortlisted for stenography test.
