please intimate me that if an individual selected for the post of stenographer grade d by ssc. then before indvidual already serving in central govt department since 2006 with grade pay of rs 2400. please intimate that howt pay fixation will be made after joining in cbi as stenographer

Pay Scale offered for the post of Stenographer Grade D by SSC:

In general, Pay Scale offered is preset by the government department already. Hence it would be same for everyone i.e., either for Experience (for an Employee) or for inexperienced candidates. So here is the pay scale for the post of Stenographer Grade D by SSC after 7th Pay Commission.

There are generally two grades and they are Grade C and Grade D.

>> Grade D - lower grade

>> Grade C - Higher grade

Starting salary for Grade D stenographers would be Rs.5,200/- per month including allowances and starting salary for Grade C stenographers would be Rs.9300/- and it may gets increased based on the experience you attain or promotion that you will receive.
