How can girls apply for Indian airforce after 12th examination then what is the criteria & eligibility for it?

To join Indian Air Force on the basis of your Class 12th, you just have the option of joining as an officer and that through NDA (National Defense Academy).

Further, to join NDA, you are required to qualify NDA examination held by UPSC twice every year and the minimum eligibility criteria required for appearing in the same examination are as below :-

* You must be an unmarried Indian citizen.

* You must have completed your Class 12th in any discipline from a recognized board of education. But, in case you are interested in joining Indian Navy or Indian Air force wings of NDA, you must have opted for Mathematics and Physics in your Class 12th.

* Your age must lie within 16.5 years to 19.5 years.

* You must hold the physical fitness as per the service requirement.

Criteria to apply for Indian Air Force for girls:-

For applying to the flying branch the candidates should have studied maths and physics in 12th standard.
The age limit varies depending on the post applied for.
The minimum height required to apply to flying branch is 162cms and for the others is centimeter and the others is 152 cms.

For Indian Airforce For Girls , candidates must have a graduation degree in any stream from a recognized university with minimum 60%marks from a recognized university or BE /BTech degree with minimum 60%marks.

Your Nationality should be Indian.

Martial Status - Single.

After graduating from any technical stream with PCM background , girls can pay for CDS or AFCAT exam or through NCC special entry through their respective college NCC cell.

After clearing AFCAT exam , they have to appear for an interview which is conducted by SSB then one can join IAF as an officer.

Just like boys , girls can't join Airforce through NDA which is for class 12th passouts and only boys can apply.

To join the Indian Army requires a minimum qualification of being a graduate and as per the short service commission scheme, females who are willing to be a part of the Indian Army can serve for fourteen years. Females are free to enter different branches like Medical, Engineering, Law, and others. The routes to join the Indian Army are given below.

--> Graduate Non-UPSC

Criteria to apply for Indian airforce for girls:-

Definitely girl students can join Indian Air Force .

Girls can join Indian Air Force after graduation.

To join in Air Force you have to appear an qualify UPSC exam.

Through UPSC exam, you can join in Indian Air Force.

The criteria to attain in the UPSC exam is minimum graduation in qualification with 55% marks.

Age Limit:-

The minimum age limit is 21 years and maximum age limit is 29 years.

Criteria to apply for Indian airforce for girls?

1. To apply for this position, you will need to have a B. Tech/B.E. degree with a minimum of 60% marks from a recognized university.

2. Maths and Physics in the 12th grade are compulsory too.

3. Female candidates who hold an Air Wing Senior Division 'C' certificate, can directly apply to the post.

Eligibility Criteria:-

Minimum Educational Qualification: Graduate with Physics and Maths at 10 + 2 level. Should not have failed in Pilot Aptitude Battery Test.

Age Limit: 19 to 23 years. 25 years for those having Commercial Pilot License.

Physical Eligibility: Medically fit for Flying Branch.

Graduate Degree (Minimum three year degree course) in any discipline from a recognised university with 60% marks or equivalent or cleared section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognised university with a minimum of 60% marks.
