Dear Sir/Madam, I am 29 years old and I want to apply in Tamil Nadu PSC Jailor recruitment. I would like to know that am I eligible to apply? What is the eligibility? Kindly provide me the details as soon as possible.

In order to apply for Tamil Nadu PSC Jailor recruitment, candidates should have completed their bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized college/university. There is no upper age limit to apply for the recruitment however, candidates age must be below 58 years. Candidates must have knowledge in Tamil language. The height of the candidate should be 160 cms and must have chest expansion of 79 cms.

Eligibility to apply to the Jailor recruitment in the TNPSC is given below:

>> Male candidates with a degree from a university recognized by the UGC

>> Preference will be given to those candidates who are having a Master’s Degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice Administration and next preference will be given to the candidate possessing a Master’s Degree in Social Work

>> There is no upper age limit (should be less than 58 years of age) – Jailor post is reserved for the SC candidates
