Eligibility to apply for UPSC Combined Defence Services Examination-II 2018


Hello everyone, I am interested to apply in UPSC Combined Defence Services Examination-II. I would like to know about the eligibility criteria for applying in this recruitment of this year. Can you please let me know about the eligibility criteria asap? Waiting for your response!

Eligibility criteria required to apply for UPSC Combined Defense Services examination-II are mentioned below :-

--> Educational Qualification :- You should possess a degree from a recognised university.

--> Age Limit :- 20 to 24 years for IMA, INA, IAA and 20 to 25 years for Officer's Training Academy.

CDS stands for Combined Defense Service.

The eligibility criteria for this exam is candidate must have passed Bachelor's degree from a recognized university. Final year candidate are also eligible for this exam.

CDS examination is conducted by UPSC. It is conducted for selection in defence services.

The examination is conducted in two stages. The common eligibility to appear in examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university.

The age limit is 20-24 years with upper limit of 25 years for OTA. For syllabus and other information about examination visit at www.upsc.gov.in.

Eligibility Criteria Required to apply for UPSC Combined Defence Services Examination II 2018:

The basic educational qualification required to apply for this UPSC Combined Defence Services Examination II 2018 is given below,

>> For Indian Naval Academy;-
* Candidates should have completed Degree in Engineering from a recognized university or institution.

>> For Indian Military Academy/ Officer's Training Academy;-
* Candidates should have passed Degree of a recognized university or its equivalent qualification.

>> For Air Force Academy:-
* Candidates must have completed Degree of a Recognized university (with Mathematics and Physics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering course in order to be eligible.

The eligibility to appear in CDS examination is that :-

Candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university for IMA and OTA.

For INA - B.Tech or B.E is mandatory while for IAF - 12TH in PCM.

Age limit is 19-24 years for IMA, IAF, INA and for OTA - 20-25 YEARS.
