what is the age limit to appear for the sales tax/incometax officer?

Eligibility Criteria required to become Sales Tax Officer:

Educational Qualification Required:

>> Candidates must have passed "Bachelor Degree or Graduate Degree" in any discipline from a recognized university.

>> Candidates who are pursuing final year of Graduation are also eligible to appear in Sales Tax Officer Recruitment Examinations.

>> Candidates must have knowledge in Data Entry Operating which is preferable along with computer knowledge.

>> There is no certain minimum percentage is required to be eligible for appearing in Sales Tax Officer Recruitment Exams.

Required Age Criteria:

Minimum Age - 21 years

Maximum Age - 30 years

Note: Age relaxation of 3 years for OBC Candidates, of 5 years for SC Candidates, of 5 years for ST Candidates as per government norms.
