To apply for Short Service Commission exam you need to have possessed certain qualification which is framed for the exam and they may include such as that the candidate should have a Citizenship in India as per the Nationality standard.

The age limit needed for the exam is that the candidate should have 19-27 years of age and there are certain upper age relaxation for other category candidates.Education qualification needed is that the candidate should have a Engineering degree from a recognized university or from any other stream.

Physical standard states that the candidate should have a minimum height of 157 cm vision needed is 6/6 or 6/12 with or without glasses.

If you satisfy them all then you can apply for the exam.
