Qualification and procedure required to get a government drawing teacher job?
I have degree of BFA (Bachelor of Fine Arts) and also have a certificate in 3D Animation. From last 3 yrs working in TCS as a graphic designer. I want to become a drawing teacher in government school. So, I want to know the qualification and the procedure to get the job in Saharanpur (UP).

Qualification and Procedure required to get a government drawing teacher job is, candidates must have a graduation degree and also have to appear in the entrance exam called TET(Teachers Eligibility Test).
Selection Procedure is:- Interview Preliminary exam Mains Examination etc .. |

=)You must be a citizen of India. =)You should have passed the 10th examination from Maharashtra State Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent, with Mathematics, General Science and English with minimum 35% aggregate marks. =)You must have attained the age of minimum 17 years to get admission in Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering admission.. |

The selection of drawing teacher is done through competitive exam and it's done through the 3 phases of selection which consist of
Preliminary exam Main exam Interview Eligibility Daily graduate degree in arts for the period of 1 or a pair of years from a reputed school that is approved by UGC. Diploma course for 6 months in arts from any reputed college Art appreciation certification programme from a government college for a period of 6 months. After getting the required degree , complete the internship , pass state required test and then apply for teaching certificate. |

To become a Drawing Teacher in government or any school you need to write an Indian entrance examination. This entrance examination is called as Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) and for this, you just have to get a BEd (Bachelor of Education) from a recognized university. A qualification and procedure to become a drawing teacher in a government school is a candidate must hold a bachelor's degree in arts/fine arts from a recognized university that is approved by the UGC.

Qualification and procedure for government drawing teacher job:-
Educational qualification:- The candidates must have done graduation in arts stream to become drawing teacher. One must have done graduation from any government recognized College, Institute or University. One must have scored at least 55% marks in graduation. Age Limit:- The age of the candidate must be between 18 years old to 35 years old. Procedure to become a drawing teacher:- Candidates should have done a five years diploma in drawing/painting/sculpture/graphic art from a recognized university/institute or master's degree/ bachelor degree in drawing and fine art/painting from a university recognized by the govt of India are eligible for the post. |

TET (Teacher Eligibility Test) is largely a teaching certification check for determinative eligibility of candidates to be a government college teacher or private college teacher etc. The age of the candidate must be between 18 years old to 35 years old. Not simply government colleges, however non-public colleges too are recruiting Teachers on the basis of TET certification |
