In which exam should I appear to become a CBI Officer?
I have completed engineering in mechanical. Am a degree holder. Can I join CBI officer. What exam I have to attend and what are physical criteria needed?

To join the CBI you must write the Union Public Service Commission Examination. It is conducted every year.
Eligibility Criteria of CBI Officer:- =>A candidate who has graduation degree or any equivalent bachelors degree from a recognized university can apply for this exam. =>A candidate who is in final year of graduation can also apply for this post. =>Candidate must have minimum 18 years age and maximum 27 year age. Physical Requirements:- *Height:- 1.For women -150cms 2.For men -165cms. Height relax able for Hillsmen and Tribals: 5cms *Chest:- 76cms. with expansion (There shall be no such requirement in case of female candidates) *Vision:- Eye-Sight (with or without glasses) NearVision:0.6 in one eye and 0.8 in other eye Distant Vision :6/6 in one and 6/9 in other eye. |

There are two exams through which you can join Central Bureau of Investigation. For Sub Inspector post, you can apply for Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level exam and clear all its stages for joining as Sub Inspector in CBI. You will have to clear Physical Endurance Test.
Minimum Height is 157.5cms, chest is 81 cms. You need to walk 1600 metres in 15 minutes and cycling 8 kms in 30 minutes. For other posts in CBI, you need to apply for Civil Services exam and crack it to join Indian Police Services. Top officers of CBI are from Indian Police Services. Age limit for this exam is 21-32 years. You are graduate, you can apply for both exams. |

You can apply for Civil Services examination and then join Indian Police Services to become officer in Central Bureau of Investigation.
Civil Services examination eligibility criteria: 1. Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. 2. Age limit is 21-32 years. 3. There are six attempts for general candidates, nine for OBC and no limit for SC/ST candidates. |

To become an Officer in Central Bureau of Investigation department, you need to appear in Entrance examination that is conducted by Union Public Service Commission Every year. Yes, UPSC releases the recruitment notification every year for filling up vacancies for the posts of Inspector in Central Bureau of Investigation department. Then you are required to apply against the recruitment meeting the required eligibility criteria.

Degree holders can apply for Civil Services examination to join Central Bureau of Investigation as officer.

Dear candidate,
You can join central bureau investigation department after completing graduation from any recognized university. You get job in cbi group B post grade pay-4600 through staff selection commission combined graduate level exam.. There are 3 stapes in examination - Tire 1 objective type questions 100, marks 200. Tire 2. Math 100 questions, English 200 questions, 200 marks... Tire 3. Descriptive exam. 100 marks.. Thank you. |

You can become Sub Inspector in CBI through SSC Combined Graduate level exam.
Criteria for this exam: 1. Bachelor's degree from an UGC recognized university. 2. Age limit is 18-30 years. You need to clear Tier I, II and IIi to join CBI. |

CBI exams conducted by UPSC.
Eligibility criteria for CBI Candidate should be Indian. They should be graduate from any recognized university. Age should be between in 21 to 32 years. |
