I am aiming to get a constable job in Karnataka Police. But i dont have any idea regarding the admission procedure in Karnataka Police on the post of Constable. Please reply in detail.

To become a constable in Karnataka police department, there are certain qualification which you need to possess and they include such as:

# You should have a citizenship in India.

# Age limit should be between 18 years to 22 years of age. This is applicable for male constables in the case of female constables they need to have a age limit of 18-25 years.

# Educational qualification needed is candidate should have completed +2 from a recognized school board of education.

If you satisfy these above mentioned criteria's you can apply for joining in as a police constable in Karnataka police.

The selection process for the post is:

• Academic Merit
  
• Physical Efficiency Test
  
• Document Verification & Medical Examination

First of all you must have to complete your 12th standard for the Civil police constable and you should have SSLC from CBSE for the armed police constable post. If you fulfill the above requirement then you have to fill your application form and send to below given address with in the 15 days from date of releasing application forms.

Chairman Enrolment Committee, Kolkata Police Home Guard Organisation, Post Box No - 483, GPO, Kolkata - 700001.

Also you must have to fulfill the physical requirements after passing in the entrance exam.
Physical requirements includes 1600 meter race in 345 seconds. Also you have to jump 3 feet-9 inch high and 14 feet long.

I am from Kerala state and I completed my diploma in Bangalore. Since last 4 years I am in Karnataka state and Now I am 21 years old. I can apply for constable job in Karnataka?
