I am a BTech graduate and I have heard about the HAL Aircraft Technician recruitment. Can I know about the requirements to apply for this recruitment as an Aircraft Technician. Kindly tell me about the number of vacancies also.

The number of vacancies available in HAL Operator Trainee recruitment are 13. Details of vacancies are mentioned below:-

—> OBC :- 02
—> SC :- 02
—> ST :- 01

Requirements to Apply:-
1. Educational qualification:-
You should have passed full-time degree in Engineering/ Technology in Computer Science/ Electrical/ Electronics with minimum aggregate of 60% (50% for SC/ ST candidates) from a recognised university.

2. Age Limit:- Not above 28 years as on 19.12.2018. Upper age relaxation is applicable to reserved category candidates as per government rules.

Total vacancies available in HAL Operator Trainee recruitment is 29 (9-UR, 10-OBC, 3-ST, 7-SC). Trade wise vacancy details are as follows.
Air frame: 08 posts
Engine: 01 post
Electrical: 06 posts
Instrument: 05 posts
Radio: 04 posts
Safety Equipment & Weapon Fitter: 05 posts

Candidates must have completed Diploma in Engineering or equivalent is respective discipline from any recognized university/institute.

Candidates must have at least 3 years of working experience on Aircraft in Indian Airforce/ Navy/ Army after obtaining Diploma Qualification.
