How much is dearness allowance for Soldiers in Indian Army?

In general there is increment of DA every 6 months and now it is 31%.

The DA increment is same for all the Central employee and not especially for soliders.

Dearness Allowance will be 31% for Soldiers in the Indian Army which is applicable from 1st July 2021 by The Department of Defence under the Ministry of Defence of the Government of India.

How much is dearness allowance for Soldiers in Indian Army?

Dearness Allowance, DA applicable to defence forces like Indian Army, Indian Navy, Indian Air force from 1st July 2021 will be 31%.

There is no special DA for Indian Army or soliders.

There DA is as per Central Government employee norms. DA is increased half yearly by Central Government employee and not increased in the past year due to COVID-19. Today the DA is around 31%.

The DA hike for Indian Army, Navy, Air force from 1st January 2022 will be 34%. MoD has issued the DA hike order dated 06.04. 2022.
