Is pension still available in Indian Army?
Is this right that there is still pension facilities available in Indian army only?

No, it is not only in Army but present in other defence services as well.
So, even after joining Army, Navy or Air Force, candidates are eligible for admission pension after fulfilling the required criteria ( minimum year of service ). |

Yes, pension is available in Indian Army and other defence services.
But, one can become eligible for pension only after completion of minimum year of tenure as per the required services. Due to the role of defence service, the provision of offering pension is still prevalent in defence services and which is also necessary. |

Retiring Pension is granted to officers on completing a minimum qualifying service of 20 years (15 years in case of late entrant). Service Pension is admissible to JCOs/OR on completion of minimum mandatory qualifying service of 15 years.
