Respected Sir, I am pursuing my Graduation with Mechanical Engineering and after completing it I wish to join the Indian Army so I need to know what step should I follow to join the Indian Army after completing Mechanical Engineering? What is the eligibility criteria required to become an Indian Army Officer? Please answer as soon as possible.

To join Indian Army after completion of your Graduation in Mechanical Engineering, you have to appear in CDS examination conducted by UPSC. Eligibility criteria required to appear in CDS examination for joining in Indian Army is mentioned below :-

1. You must be a citizen of India.

2. You must have completed Graduation degree or equivalent from a recognised university.

3. You should be in between 19-24 years of age.

4. You should be an Unmarried Male candidate.

5. You should be Physically fit as per physical standards mentioned in the UPSC CDS examination notification.
