Respected sir, I am Shrey Sabharwal student of class 9th ,sir i want to ask that in which subjects should i be perfect to become an income tax commissioner. pls guide me how to become income tax commissioner.

For selection as an Income tax commissioner ( I.R.S ) you have to appear and qualify in Civil Service examination. The required educational qualification to appear for the examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university.

The age limit is 21-32 years. The examination is conducted in three stages and after qualifying in all stages eligible for final selection. So, you need to complete the academic qualification and do preparation as per syllabus for selection. To get more information about the examination visit at www.upsc.gov.in.

Arts subjects like - economics, political science, geography.

Commerce subjects like - Accountancy, Bussiness, etc.

After 12th, you need to pursue a graduation to become an Income Tax Commissioner in future.

It is better to choose commerce, with Business Economics and Accountancy included in your choice of subjects. The candidate should have completed graduation with a minimum of 55 percent from any university to become an Income Tax commissioner in India.

You can choose any subject combination, if you want to become an income tax officer.
The minimum educational qualification required to appear in this examination is graduation from a recognised University and there are two exams in which you can appear to join Income Tax Department.
