Is it possible to become a Deputy Collector/District Magistrate through Bihar Public Service Commission exam?


Hello,
I just want to confirm that can I becomes a Deputy Collector/District Magistrate by giving Bihar Public Service Commission exam? Please reply as soon as possible. Waiting for your reply.

No, it is not possible, to become deputy collector, a candidate must clear the Civil Services examination conducted by UPSC every year. District Magistrate means Indian Administrative Services officer.

Civil Services examination is conducted in three stages:

1. Preliminary exam.

2. Mains examination.

3. Personal interview.

You must have done graduation to apply for the exam. The age limit is 21-32 years for the candidates of general category. Reserved category candidates have upper age relaxation upto five years.
