Hello Sir, this is Md Ashraf Devillier from Saharsa. I want to become deputy commissioner. Sir, please help I don't know what qualification and knowledge is required or what talent should be achieved to become DCP in future. Please help.

Qualification required to become Deputy commissioner of police is,you must have a graduation degree with minimum 50%marks from a recognized university.

And also you need to crack the UPSC Civil Service Exam (CSE).

To become deputy commissioner, you have to appear in the Civil Service Examination that is conducted by Union Public Service Commission every year and the minimum educational qualification required is graduation in any discipline from a recognised university or Institute.
You have to select the post of IPS while filling the application form and if you get appointed as an IPS officer then, after few years, you will get promoted for the post of deputy commissioner.

To become a Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) you need to crack the UPSC- Civil Service Exam(CSE). UPSC is the central agency of India that conducts the CSE exam for qualifying a Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) or IPS officer. UPSC is the All India Service Examination. After qualifying all 3 rounds of UPSC.

Qualification
One has to have bachelor's degree, no particular stream is required , but it has to be from well known board.

Then one should start preparing for UPSC exam as soon as possible because the exam is quite challenging.

Getting upto 100 or near rank in an all India basis is regarded good .

Candidates must be Indian citizens with any degree and between the ages of 21 to 38 years. There is a minimum physical requirement of height 168 cm (5 ft 6 in) for men and 155 cm (5 ft 1 in) for women, chest requirement of 84 cm (33 in), and chest expansion of 5 cm (2 in).

You should have a graduation from any recognized university.
