Hello Sir/Madam, I belong to a reserved category and I want to apply for the Combined Preliminary Competitive Examination of Bihar PSC. Can I get any relaxation? What relaxation available for the reserved candidates?

There is relaxation for reserved category.

Application fee - Rs 150 for SC/ST/PWD/ Female instead of Rs 600 for general and OBC.

Relaxation in upper age limit for OBC, SC,ST and female.

There is also reservation of seats as per reservation policy.

Relaxation available under Bihar PSC Combined Preliminary Competitive Examination 2020 for reserved candidates:-

Age relaxation for SC/ST( male/female) - 42 years.

Relaxation in application fee -

For SC/ST/PH candidates - Rs. 150/-

Following are the relaxations available for candidates belonging to reserved category in BPSC (Bihar Public Service Commission) Combined (Preliminary) Competitive Examination 2020 :-

--> Upper age limit relaxation upto 3 years for EBC/BC category candidates and 5 years in case of SC/ST category candidates.

--> Relaxation in application fee which is Rs. 150/- for reserved category candidates which is Rs. 600/- in case of General category candidates.

--> Relaxation in Qualifying marks for the same examination due to the provision of reservation for reserved category candidates as per the State Government norms.

. General category female/ OBC - 40 years

Relaxation available under Bihar PSC Combined Preliminary Competitive Examination 2020 for reserved candidates is given below.

OBC candidate will get 3 year age relaxation in upper age.
ST/SC candidate will get 5 year age relaxation in upper age.
General female candidate will get 3 year relaxation in upper age.

Upper age for this recruitment is 37 years.
