1) You have to collect samples from sentinel sites situated across the state of
Pondicherry on weekly basis (including Karaikal).

2) You have to perform real time PCR test on the samples.

3) You have to maintain the accounts and stock register for the funds received.

Roles and Responsibilities of Lab Technician through JPMER recruitment :

Basically Lab Technician is Nurse or Medical Consultant. So whatever the Job description for Nurse will also be applicable to Lab technician.

>> Patient Diagnosis and Treatment by performing laboratory tests.

>> keeping a record of Inventories.

>> Assessing and Planning Laboratory care requirements.

>> Pre and Post Operation care

>> Organizing work loads

>> Monitoring medication

>> Administration of the Inventory in Laboratory.
