Can anyone of you tell me about the roles and responsibilities which is an Typist must have in High Court of Karnataka. I am going to prepare for the exam of this recruitment so I would like to know about the roles and responsibilities first.

Roles and responsibilities of Typist in High Court of Karnataka is as follows :-

Gathering and Compiling Data
Transcribing Audio Records
Typing Handwritten Documents
Maintain a Filing System for Documents
Reformatting Documents

As a typist your name responsibility is to produce letters, reports and other important documents.
You will need to be good at typing fast and accurate but when applying for jobs you will probably see 3 terms used copy typing, audio typing and shorthand typing.
