## Selection Procedure:

Selection of the candidates will be based on the merit prepared based on the enrollment plus ITI marks.

Eligibility criteria required to apply for East Coast Railway Trade Apprentice recruitment is Candidate must have passed class 10th with minimum 50% marks from a recognised board. Candidate must have done ITI course in relevant trade from a recognised institution. Candidate age must lie between 15 to 24 years. Upper age relaxation are available for reserved category candidates.

The selection of candidates for East Coast Railway Trade Apprentice recruitment will based on merit list prepared by RRC.

Merit list of all candidates will be prepared by taking average of marks secured by candidates in matriculation and ITI from a recognized institute.

Last date to apply for recruitment is 6th January 2020.

The selection of candidates for Trade Apprenticeship under ECR (East Coast Railway) will be based on the marks required by the candidates in their Class 10th ( or Class 8th in case of some posts ) and that in ITI degree in relevant discipline. The weightage of marks secured in both the qualifying degree is 50%.

@ Selection will be done based on the merit list prepared in respect of all the eligible candidates who apply against the notification

@ The merit list shall be prepared by taking the average of matriculation plus ITI marks.

@ Panel shall be prepared taking the average of the percentage of the marks obtained by candidate in both matriculation and ITI Examination giving equal weightage to both.

@ Shortlisted candidates will be called for document or certificate verification to the extent of 1.5 times of the notified candidates.
