Hello friends, can anyone of you kindly provide me the selection procedure under SAIL Operator-cum-Technician recruitment? I want to know about the selection procedure of this recruitment because I am planning to apply for this recruitment.

The selection of candidates for the post of SAIL Operator-cum-Technician recruitment will be done through Written Test and Skill Test/ Trade Test. Candidates shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the written test will be called for Skill Test/ Trade Test in the ratio of 1:3 for each post. The selection will be done based on the marks obtained in the written examination and the Skill Test/ Trade Test will be of qualifying nature.

Selection of the candidates for SAIL Operator-cum-Technician recruitment will be done through written examination and Skill Test/Trade Test. Eligible candidates will be required to appear in Written Examination. The minimum qualifying marks in written examination is 50% for UR candidates and 40% for SC/ ST/ OBC (NCL) & PWD candidates. Short listed candidates from written examination will be called for Skill Test/Trade Test in the ratio of 1:3. Final selection will be on the basis of merit of written examination and performance in the Skill Test/Trade Test.
