The selection procedure of TANGEDCO Field Assistant recruitment 2021 will be on the basis of Physical Test followed by written examination. The educational qualification required is a candidate must have done ITI (National Trade certificate/National Apprenticeship certificate) in Electrician/Wireman/Electrical Trade under the Centre of Excellence Scheme. The candidate should have a good knowledge of the official language of the state namely Tamil. The candidate minimum age should be 18 years and the maximum age should be 30 years.

The selection procedure of Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation Limited Field Assistant recruitment 2021 would be through Written Test and Physical Test.

1)Written Test:- will include the questions from General English, General Tamil, Aptitude and Mental ability Test and Subject oriented. The duration of the paper would be of 2 hours and maximum marks would be 100.
2)Physical Test:- The test will include pole climbing and cross arm fixing, Plating of ropes and weight lifting 35 kg for a distance of 100 meters in one minute in one chance without putting the weight down.
