Hello Sir, I have applied in SSC-CHSL recruitment of this year. But I don’t know how they are going to select the candidates. Can you please let me know about the selection procedure? Please let me know immediately. Waiting for your response.

SSC CHSL examination is conducted in three stages :-

Objective Test.

Descriptive Test.

Computer Skill Test.

Candidates have to appear and qualify in each of the stages for the final selection.

The age limit is 18-27 year with relaxation for reserved category.

The online application is closed.

Selection procedure through SSC-CHSL recruitment are as follows:-

Examination will consist of three stages.
Computer Based Exam- Tier 1- Objective type
Descriptive Paper- Tier 2
Typing Test- Tier 3
-Typing Test for LDC/JSA & PA//SA
- Skill Test for DEO

The full form of SSC CHSL is Staff Selection Commission Combined Higher Secondary Level examination.

The selection of candidates is based on performance of candidates in:

1. Tier I examination.

2. Tier II examination.

3. Tier III examination.

The age criteria for exam is 18-30 years. Upper age relaxation applicable to OBC and SC/ST is given.

Selection of candidates through SSC-CHSL recruitment will be on the basis of Online Computer Based Test which will be comprises of Computer Based Examination (Tier-I), Descriptive Paper (Tier-II) and Typing Test/ Skill Test (Tier-III). The minimum qualifying marks for Tier-II examination will be 33%. Shortlisted candidates from (Tier-I + Tier-II) examination based on their performance in the examination will be required to appear in the Typing Test/ Skill Test (Tier-III). Skill Test/Typing Test will be of qualifying type. Qualified candidates from Tier-III will be called for Document Verification.

Part I - English Language (Basic Knowledge) - 25 Questions - 50 Marks
Part I - General Intelligence - 25 Questions - 50 Marks
Part I - Quantitative Aptitude (Basic Arithmetic Skill) - 25 Questions - 50 Marks
Part I - General Awareness - 25 Questions - 50 Marks
Total Duration of Examination - 60 Minutes

Selection procedure of SSC CHSL recruitment :

There are total 3 stages in the selection process of SSC CHSL examination.

1.Comouter Based Examination

Consist of 4 sections and for 1hr duration .

Total marks for 100 marks and there is negative marking 0.5

2.Descriptive test :

Pen and paper Mode examination. Duration for examination is one hr and total marks is 100 marks.

3.Skill Test/Typing Test

Skills test is for Date entry operator

Typing test for LDC & postal or sorting assistant.
