Hi friends, I am a little worried about my future. Actually, I am interested to apply and get in as a Sub-Inspector in West Bengal Police. But I don’t know about the selection procedure. Can you help me to know about the selection procedure.

Selection procedure of West Bengal Police Sub Inspector recruitment is given below:

Preliminary Examination (for 200 marks) consists of:

General Studies -100 marks – 50 questions

Arithmetic - 50 marks – 25 questions

Logical Reasoning - 50 marks – 25 questions

Duration – 90 minutes

Physical Measurement Test & Physical Efficiency Test

Final Combined Competitive Examination (for 200 marks) consists of:

Paper I – General Studies and Arithmetic – 100 marks – 2 hours duration

Paper II – English – 50 marks – 1 hour duration

Paper III – Bengali / Hindi / Urdu / Nepali – 50 marks – 1 hour duration

Personality Test (for 30 marks)

You have to qualify the following stages of selection process to get selected for West Bengal Police Sub-Inspector recruitment.

1) Preliminary Examination

2) Physical Measurement Test (PMT) & Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
