Syllabus, qualifying marks and method of preparation for SEBI Assistant Manager exam?


hi,
Please provide the details of Sebi assistant manager (General) exam held on 5 dec ex-like sylabus, Qualifing marks and method of preparation in each subject

Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), a statutory regulatory body is to protect the interests of investors in securities and to promote the development of and to regulate the securities market.

Age Eligibility: Maximum 27 years.

Academic Qualification Eligibility:

Minimum 55% aggregate marks (50% for SC/ST/ PWD) in Masters Degree in Economics/ Commerce/ MBA/ PG Degree or PG Diploma in Management from a recognized University/Institute, CA/CFA/CS/ICWA.

Also you should be computer literate and conversant with MS Office, Word and Excel Applications. Any work experience in the related field will be considered during the selection process.

Syllabus:

For General Stream /Research Stream: Tests for
1. English Language
2. Quantitative Aptitude
3. Reasoning ability
4. General Awareness
For Legal Stream/ Technical Stream (Information Technology, Civil Engineering and Electrical
Engineering)/ Official Language Stream/:
1. English Language,
2. Reasoning ability
3. Quantitative Aptitude
4. General Awareness
5. Professional Knowledge.
The qualifying marks will differ from year to year. Generally the candidates who are securing above 60% will be qualified.

Preparation tips:
Understand your Goal - Please go through the tentative dates of the exam and syllabus and define your weekly schedule to cover each topic.

Build your study schedule week wise alongside the schedule of your curriculum.

Take your notes, Jot important points to remember.

Analyze your self test results carefully.

Grammar books will be very much helpful to you to perform well in English section.

General ability section is very vast, one should allocate more time in that.

Newspapers and Magazines are good source to perform well in General knowledge section.

Previous question papers will get you acquainted with the nature of questions asked in SEBI exam.

Is MBA from distance education through university which is recognized by UGC, eligible for assistant manager in SEBI exam?
