SAIL will conduct MT Exam for to recruit the candidates for management trainee. You have to qualify in each of the 5 section for the respective discipline by scoring minimum 50% of the marks in the respective category.
Syllabus for Technician Trainee Exam in SAIL:
As said above, it comprises two sections in the General Ability the questions will be asked from four sections and each carries different marks. They are
• Reasoning – 45 marks
• Quantitative Aptitude- 35 marks
• General Awareness- 35 marks
• English Language- 35 marks
In the Technical section questions will be asked from the particular domain. For instance, if you are applying for the Mechanical Technician Vacancy the questions will be asked from the Mechanical syllabus. All these questions will be asked from your academic education which you are studied in the college. This section comprises the remaining marks.
• Technical Paper (Engineering) -100 marks
Tips for the preparation:
Since SAIL exam is being a challenging exam, you need to put in a lot of hard work and planning. Self assessment is an important part in the preparation. Practice as many mock test as possible in close to examination. Questions can be asked form every nook and corner of the subject and therefore it is not at all advisable to omit any chapter or area. You can make use of text books to study in detail about each and every section of the syllabus. Journal, magazines, newspapers and General Knowledge books are good sources for gaining knowledge relevant to various section of paper. You go through previous year question paper.
