SAIL in Brief !!

As you have Not specified your Branch In your Question so Eligible Candidates i.e Only Mechanical , Electrical , E & TC , Instrumentation ,Civil , Chemical , Metallurgy and Computer Science Students with Minimum of 65% in all years / Semester are Eligible.

Now you are in 6th Semester, You need Go for One more year.

So prepare Your self according to The condition Eligibility and as per as Syllabus. Maximum Age limit is 30 years No worry !!

Sail Syllabus Cum Exam Pattern :-

It consists of 5 Sections they are

section I of 45 Marks based on Reasoning.
Section II of 35 Marks consists of Quantitative Aptitude.
Section III is of 35 Marks again which consists of General Awareness.
Section IV is of 35 marks of English & Lastly
Section V is of 100 marks which is Technical Paper of your Branch

This Test is of 135 Mins durations.

Those who gets Selected in Written Exam are Called For GD & Interview .

Sail has a fairly simple exam.
It consists of 5 Sections, of 135 minutes duration
they are

section I of 45 Marks based on Reasoning.
Section II of 35 Marks consists of Quantitative Aptitude.
Section III is of 35 Marks again which consists of General Awareness.
Section IV is of 35 marks of English & Lastly
Section V is of 100 marks which is Technical Paper of your Branch

you need to have minimum 65% score in your all semesters/years.
To be eligible to sit for the exam.
Next will be the GDPI stage.. after which the final selections will be made.

Eligibility Criterion:

The students having B.tech degree from the following disciplines: Mechanical, Electrical, Metallurgy, Chemical, Electronics & Telecommunications, Instrumentation, Civil, Ceramics and Computer Science from a recognized university with minimum marks of 65% in all years/semester (50%for SC/ST) are eligible to apply for the post. Students having degree of MCA with 65% (50% for SC/ST) are also eligible. Age limits for general students is 30 years, for SC/ST it is 35, For OBC it is 33 & for physically handicapped people it is 40 years.

Consists of 5 sections :

Reasoning : 45 Marks
Quantitative Aptitude :35 Marks
General Awareness : 35 Marks
Communicational English : 35 marks
Core paper : 100 marks

Time Allowed : 145 Minutes (Consolidated)

Syllabus of SAIL exam is not published in any way.
But syllabus of SAIL is same as that of GATE exam with 80% weightage to theory.

SAIL(Steel authority of india)

For sail syllabus contain five section:-

Reasoning of 45 marks
Quants of 35 marks
English of 35 marks
G.K of 35 marks
and your Technical paper of 100 marks

and prepare acording to that.
