Is it true that if you have a tattoo on your body, then you will not be selected for a government job in India? Is tattoo on wrist allowed for Government jobs or not? Can someone please guide me with the right official information on the same? Thank you!

Tattoos can create problems during defense jobs, where whole body is checked before recruitment. Hence, if you want to join army or police or any defense job, then get rid of that tattoo.

If you are applying for any defence job or police then you can not have tattoo on your body neither at the time of facing interview nor after joining. But if you are applying for any other jobs then can have the tatto after joining but it would be appreciable if you have clear body.
