Sir, I have completed BA in following subjects 1st & 2nd Year - Political Science, English Language and Sociology 3rd Year - Political Science. I have completed BEd. Whether i am eligible for TGT or not. Someone told me that your subject are not matching for TGT entrance examination. Kindly guide me. I am worried.

TGT Eligibility Criteria for Sociology graduate:-

One must have completed graduation in any discipline from a recognised University with minimum 50% marks and relaxation of 5% is given to the reserved.

B.Ed is mandatory.

Age should not be more than 45 years.

TGT Eligibility Criteria for Sociology graduate is given below:-

TGT stands for Trained Graduate Teacher.

Minimum required eligibility to apply for TGT:-
The candidate should possess graduation degree in any discipline with B.Ed degree from a recognised University.

The minimum age limit to sit for the exam is 21 years and there is no upper age limit.

The selection of the candidate is carried out based on their performance in written exam and interview.
