You are not eligible to apply for post graduate teacher post.
B.Ed or its equivalent qualification from a recognised University is needed along with the postgraduate degree. Since you have completed master's degree in Geology, you are eligible to do PGT post in geography related subject. Here is the educational qualification required.
I suggest you to do B.Ed in order to be eligible for PGT post for Geology.

PGT stands for Post Graduate Teacher.

You are eligible to appear for recruitment after qualifying in CTET and TET examination.
But, you need to complete master's degree from a recognised University and you have to appear for entrance examination.

There is no limitation on discipline of master's degree to appear for entrance examination.

For more information about CTET entrance examination visit at www.cbse.nic.in

Eligibility criteria required to apply for PGT:

The basic eligibility criteria required to apply for PGT is as follows:

PGT stands for Post Graduate Teacher. For a Post Graduate Teacher post, one must possess:-

Master's degree from a recognised University with at least 50% marks in aggregate in concerned subjects.

B.Ed or equivalent qualification from a recognised University for all the above PGT posts except Information and Technology.

Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English languages.

Desirables qualification:-
Knowledge of computer applications.

So, without B.Ed degree you cannot apply for the PGT post.
