Hello sir, generally in every state government there is a reservation for Ex-Army children to pursue B.Tech. Is there any reservation or preference for Ex-Army Children to pursue B.Tech in NIT’s? Please let me know.

Admission in NITs is based on performance in JEE Main and there is reservation available on the basis of caste and physical handicapped nature only. There is no special seats reserved for children of army personnel.

Only seats are reserved for wards of freedom fighters or those whose parents have died while serving for Army/Air Force/Navy in a battlefield.
