What is the age limitation for TGT and PGT?
I want to know what exactly the age criteria the govt and central govt schools follow for TGT and PGT? Is it 32 years and 36 years for TGT and PGT (for both male and female)? Is there any age limit relaxation for females? Do private school also follow the same age group for TGT and PGT? As I heard that the new age limit for TGT and PGT would be 32 and 36 years for both male and female from 2019 onwards? No age relaxation for females? Please clarify?

Re: What is the age limitation for TGT and PGT?
TGT and PGT are positions in the education sector in India, and the age limitations for these positions vary depending on the rules and regulations set by the government and the respective education boards.
For the TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher) position, the maximum age limit is usually 35 years. However, there may be relaxations in the age limit for candidates belonging to reserved categories, such as SC/ST/OBC. For the PGT (Post Graduate Teacher) position, the maximum age limit is usually 40 years. Again, there may be relaxations in the age limit for candidates belonging to reserved categories. It's important to note that these age limits are subject to change, and can vary depending on the specific recruitment rules and regulations set by the government and the education boards. Therefore, it's always best to refer to the official recruitment notifications and guidelines for accurate and up-to-date information. |
